FALL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

From CEF Executive Director Keith Cernak

IMAGINE THE DIFFERENCE YOU CAN MAKE

Every donation you make to CEF right now will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to CEF board members and some very generous community members.

DID YOU KNOW THAT?

SCIENCE:

Only 54% of our students are proficient in science by 10th grade.  CEF wants to dramatically increase science proficiency and career opportunities for all students in one of the most science enriched areas of the world which is just “over the hill.”

LITERACY:

From Kindergarten to Third Grade grade children learn to read…then they read to learn…55% of our third graders are not proficient in reading by the end of third grade.  Our goal is to change this so all of our students advance through higher learning and can be successful in college and throughout their lives.

I want to be a part of this and make a tax deductible donation which will be matched right now by community challenge grants.

21st CENTURY LEARNING SKILLS:

The needs of the workforce are evolving.  Students must learn the essential skills for success in today's world, such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration. CEF is supporting these skills that our students will need in their vocations, colleges and careers.

TECHNOLOGY:

CEF’s goals are to bring to our students:

  • State of the art technology in the classrooms.
  • Technological skills to be successful in a global, interactive world.
  • Hi-Tech leaders who can expand our students’ vision of future possibilities for learning and careers.

All this leads to developing our students as “Critical Thinkers” who will have skills for a 21st Century global economy and world…and the best possible school system to provide this.

TO DO THIS WE NEED YOUR DONATION.

Please make your tax-deductible gift to CEF now, so it will be matched to Double Your Impact.

CEF thanks you…our students thank you.
